Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a PPC Search Engine account before I sign up with BidHero?

Yep, you sure do. You'll need an account for each PPC search engine you want BidHero to manage. To date, BidHero supports Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing or YSM PPC systems.

Does BidHero Require ClickTracks?

No, it does not.  Anyone can use BidHero.

However one of Bid Hero’s primary values is in the integration of web analytics data in bid management so you can see your revenue per click data right next to your cost per click data.

I already have lots of keywords and ads in Google and YSM (Overture). Will I have to retype all that stuff in BidHero?

Nope. BidHero can import all your existing ads.

Can I do bid jamming and anti-bid jamming with BidHero?

Since ranking is no longer solely based on bids, BidHero does not support this. Search engines evaluate your bid, but also relevance (quality score) and click-thru rate history.

Can I manage my ad creative content through BidHero, or just the bids?

You can manage the content of your ads themselves through BidHero, not just the bids on those ads. Most other bid management programs only allow you to manage the bids. If you want to manage the content you have to login to the search engine manager and change it there. So BidHero provides a single location to manage all your campaigns

Does BidHero manage my bids and my billing? Will I still pay Google/YSM (Overture) for my clicks?

BidHero manages your bids, but not your billing—you'll still be paying your Google/Overture account directly. Think about it this way—BidHero helps you keep your bills in check, but he doesn't pay them for you.

Which PPC Search Engines does BidHero support?

BidHero supports all Google AdWords campaigns and US-based YSM (Yahoo! Search Marketing, formerly known as Overture) campaigns. Support for more PPC search engines is in development.

I have a Google AdWords in a non-English language. Will BidHero be able to manage my Google AdWords?

Oui Oui! The BidHero user interface is in English, but it can manipulate keywords and ads in any language.
